In order to start renting your
property you must get the following licenses:
- Business
Tax Receipt (BTR) Certificate from your particular
city.
- Resort
Tax Certificate from your particular city or Florida
Sales and Use Certificate
- Florida Vacation Rental Dwelling License
If a building or unit(s) is found to be operating a
short-term rental illegally, the tenants/visitors
will be evicted by your particular city and fines
assessed against the owner.
