Colony , City of Lake Clarke Shores, City of
Lake Park, City of Lake Worth, City of Lantana,
City of Loxahatchee Groves, City of Manalapan,
City of Mangonia Park, City of North Palm Beach,
City of Ocean Ridge, City of Pahokee, City of
Palm Beach, City of Palm Beach Gardens, City of
Palm Beach Shores, City of Palm Springs, City of
Riviera Beach, City of Royal Palm Beach, City of
South Palm Beach, City of Tequesta, City of
Virginia Gardens, City of Wellington, City of
Westlake, and City of West Palm Beach.
The local business tax
receipt must prominently displayed at your place
of business, in open view to the public, and
subject to inspection by Palm Beach County. In
addition to local business tax receipts required
for each place of business, they are also
required for each separate local business tax
classification at the same location, as required
by Palm Beach County and that particular
municipality (if applicable).
The County issues local
business tax receipts for one year, beginning
October 1 and expiring on September 30. A
business located within a municipality is
required to obtain both a city receipt and a
County receipt. Receipts are transferable when
there is a change of ownership, business
location or trade name.
